The conservative billionaire behind Freedom’s Watch, casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, called Tom DeLay and convinced him to drop his support of a Congressional resolution to dissuade the IOC from awarding the Olympics to Beijing, according to a Hong Kong businessman.

How much money did North Korea’s government take away from food and energy programs for its citizens to put on a lavish welcome for the New York Philharmonic? (Not that they would have gotten a piece of that money anyway.)

John McCain was endorsed by Rev. John C. Hagee, the pastor of a mega-church in San Antonio, who believes that the United States must join Israel in a preemptive, biblically prophesized military strike against Iran that will lead to the second coming of Christ.

Why won’t the Clinton, Huckabee, Obama, McCain and Ron Paul campaigns release lists of their meetings with lobbyists? That’s what John Kerry did in 2004.
