A top scientist overseeing chemical weapons storage operations at the Bluegrass Army Depot in Kentucky claims he was fired for reporting worker safety; the troubled facility is already the subject of a grand jury proceeding looking into lapses at the depot, which stores 500 tons of the world’s deadliest chemical warfare agents.

Blogging the Revolution
Bangladeshi blogger and human rights activist Tasneem Khalil was arrested early this morning, when four plain-clothed men who claimed to be with the “Joint Forces” came to his door and took him away to an army camp. Human Rights Watch, among others, is demanding his release.

Unsolicited Opinion
Look, I hate Ann Coulter as much as the next guy, but who really cares where she registers to vote? Though I’ve got to say it’s interesting that a high-level FBI agent called the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to vouch for her.
