Bureaucratic Bungling
- Chemical weapons depot under criminal investigation: U.S. Justice Department convenes grand jury to probe reports of security and safety lapses at an operations center in Kentucky. 

- Despite five and a half years of complaints from loudmouth politicians and annoying editorial boards since 9/11, there has been little progress made to improve the communications interoperability of first responders (translation=they still can’t talk to each other on their walkie-talkies)
