Soup Nazi’s Secret

Sure, it feels like an old episode of Seinfeld (actually, it was one in which Elaine obtains the secrets to the Soup Nazi’s best broths).

But we’ve obtained one of the Soup Nazi’s recipes. Al Yeganeh closed his famous flagship store last year and franchised his name, capitalizing on his fame and notoriety from that Seinfeld episode, which he claimed to loathe.

His soups, which are now prepared at a north Jersey factory, arrive in large plastic vats and are sold at joints all over town. We obtained the list of ingredients for Yeganeh’s Indian mulligatawny soup:
